"I took this photo at the Field Hunter Championships. It was not itself a printable photo but full of inspiration. The easy gallop and dramatic light of the day is captured with a soft palette and less too much detail. It was painted to be hung high over a fireplace not directly on a wall at eye height. The illusion I felt only works from this point of view. Most sporting art is so carefully worked that little is left to the imagination. Art should challenge your eye and emotions in new ways, not just duplicate a photo."
