'Huntsman from the Forrest Shadows' is an oil painting by Gail Guirreri-Maslyk.
"I took this photo at the end of closing meet and the last meet for huntsman Guy Allman before he moved back to England. He rode a stunning bay mare that was always a bit on the feisty side. Together they were always stunning to watch. His relationship with the hounds was obviously one of the best. I don't know the Blue Ridge country very well. It is harder to track them without help from those that know the country side. I was in good hands on this particular day and privileged to have been there."
