Upperville Family Class, I is an oil painting by Gail Guirreri-Maslyk painted for a cafe show during the Upperville Colt and Horse Show, 2018. The cafe of dark brown walls and soft lighting highligted well the group of paintings in blue and white. The white is untouched canvas showing, not white paint. Accuracy is achieved not only from single stroke clean drawing but also with soft massing of spaces under the drawing. This painting hangs in the artist living room. "I love waking up to this painting! I am inspired to work harder in this direction." quote by Gail.
