Salamander Resort and Spa purchases OCH Thanksgiving Day Hunt for the Equestrian Center during the annual Museum of Hounds and Hunting Fall Art Show and Sale. The painting depicting Orange County Hounds huntsman Reg at the end of a fast foggy day and gone to ground behind the back barn of Chilly Bleak on Frogtown Road where the meet started. "I stood next to Douglas Lees as we both shot blindly with our cameras above our heads to capture hounds in the thicket" notes artist Gail Guirreri. The painting hung off the easel still wet in the entry foyer of the equestrian center. It was quite obvious that it found it's perfect spot.
